Methionine and lysine on tissue turnover, performance and carcass yield of broiler chickens

Abstract

Six experiments will be realized to evaluate the effect of methionine and lysine levels in broilers chickens diets through of the isotopic exchange rate measure, performance and carcass yield. In all of the experiments, the experimental diets will be formulated according to the recommendations described by Rostagno et al. (2011) except for methionine and lysine. The first and second experiments, the broilers chickens of one day of age will be fed with the followed experimental diets with different levels of digestible lysine: 1,01; 1,06; 1,11; 1,17; 1,23; 1,29 and 1,35% of digestible lysine. The third and fourth experiments, the broilers chickens from 22 days of age will be fed with experimental diets with different levels of digestible lysine: 0,89%; 0,94%; 0,99%; 1,04%; 1,09%; 1,14% e 1,20% of digestible lysine. The fifth and sixth experiments, the broilers chickens of one day of age will be distributed in randomized way in 7 experimental diets with different levels of digestible methionine: 0,32; 0,37; 0,41; 0,46; 0,51; 0,55 and 0,60% of digestible methionine. The first, third and fifth experiments aim to capture rate tissue turnover from birds, and the second, fourth and sixth experiments, the performance and yield carcass. The data obtained from the first, third and fifth experiments will be analyzed by method of first order of exponential equation from software Minitab® (2004). And the data from the second, fourth and sixth experiments will be analyzed by analysis of variance from procedure General Lineal Model (GLM) from statistical program SAS (2007) and the requirement values from digestible lysine and methionine will be estimate by performance and carcass character will be made through of regression.
