Abstract

This master's project aims to continue the discussions initiated at graduation, with the development of our research, performed in the Final Course Project, which started under the guidance of Prof. Luzmara Curcino, and within the framework of the project coordinated by it on the representations discourse of the Brazilian reader today, our studies on the projections of the child and youth entered in the source media publications aimed at this audience. This Master thesis aims to analyze different strategies used in written texts of the children's supplement published by the newspaper "Folha de S. Paul, "and designated" Folhinha "since its launch on September 8, 1963 until the present day. The comparative analysis of the specimens of "Folhinha" allow us to identify any similarities and differences, continuities and ruptures in the forms of representation of the reader entered in the texts (both home and home editorial advertising), and apprehensible through the analysis of writing techniques and forms of questioning this reader used throughout this period. To do so, will mobilize the theoretical and methodological Discourse Analysis French orientated along with some principles developed by the Cultural History of Reading.
