Abstract

This research project aims at developing a model of bilingual dictionary (Portuguese-French, French-Portuguese) of terms concerning leases of real estate that can help the work of translators and sworn translators.Our proposal takes advantage of the results obtained in a previous Master's research, in which we developed a bilingual Portuguese-French glossary of terms concerning leases of real estate, totalling 180 entries. We limited ourselves previously to compose a terminological record with information for each of the entry term.Here our intention is to elaborate a model terminographic work in its different parts, namely, the superstructure, the macrostructure, the microstructure of the entries and the system of cross references, comprising information both from Portuguese to French - which was already developed in the Master's -, as well as French to Portuguese.We also would like to address the needs of translators as far as the bilingual dictionaries are concerned and, based on these considerations, we will elaborate our model of Portuguese-French, French-Portuguese bilingual dictionary of terms of leases of real estate. The analysis of the semantic-conceptual relations maintained between the terms of this domain which were already collected and terms which will be identified during the PhD will form the basis of our study in order to elaborate the model of dictionary. This analysis will carried out from the intralinguistic and interlinguistic perspectives.
