Abstract

In 2009 the federal government passed Law 11.947 of June 2009, which regulates the National School Feeding Programme (PNAE) and consolidates its relationship with the Family Farm. This legislation provides that the total financial resources allocated by the federal government to states and municipalities, at least 30% should be used to purchase products directly from Family Farms and rural family entrepreneur and the acquisition can be performed dispensing with the procedure bidding. The operationalization of this policy is a complex process, since it involves different sectors of government and society, and territorial factors, which together can enable or hinder that this binding is successful. Objective: this study aims to identify some of the factors that may be related to binding of the program with the Family Farm in the state of São Paulo, according to the Law 11.947/2009. Methodology: this is a cross-sectional descriptive study involving methodologies of analysis and logistic regression association test and correlation of variables. Data collected in the survey will be analyzed The meeting between the National School Feeding Programme (PNAE) and Family Farming: evaluation of the implementation and the possible effects of local procurement process under the law 11.947/2009, which surveyed 40 municipalities state of São Paulo.
