Abstract The project aims to study the interaction of gold nanoparticles and silver stabilized polivinilfenol (PVP) in Langmuir monolayers of lipids formed in the air-water interface, combining tensiometric, spectroscopic and imaging techniques. As such nanoparticles have potential action as bactericides and fungicides, acting, so in micro-organism membranes, this work involves the use of Langmuir films as models for biomembranes. Nanoparticles are inserted in the form of aqueous subphase to dipalmitoifosfatidilcolina monolayers of phospholipids (DPPC) and dipalmitoyl phosphatidyl glycerol (DPPG) and the effect will be evaluated by means of isotherms of surface-area pressure-area, surface potential, Brewster angle microscopy (BAM) and infrared spectroscopy (PM-IRRAS). | |
