Abstract

Team sports, like handball, are characterized by relations of cooperation and opposition among the players, as well as the emerging complexity of these relationships. Offensive game systems, as well as the technical and tactical elements (individual and collective) can be influenced by the defensive system adopted by the opposing team and the actions taken by defenders. Therefore, the aim of this work is to identify and analyze the technical and tactical offensive elements (individual and collective) and game systems recommended by coaches of under-14 and under-16 teams of the two main Leagues of São Paulo State) through different defensive systems. For this, we will adopt a qualitative research, from an semi-structured interview, to access coaches' speeches about those aspects. The interviews will be transcribed verbatim and tabulated according to the collective subject discourse (CSD) method. (AU)
