Abstract

Beach handball presents a high complexity gaming environment that requires great ability of the players' decision-making. This sport has been growing in recent years, but most studies emphasize information related to fitness and other biological parameter, and there are few studies that are concerned to study the beach handball pedagogical aspects. Identify the defensive and offensive content considered most important by the coaches as well as the teaching-learning-training methods adopted by these are important for the understanding and analysis of your overview. In this context, this research project aims to: a) identify the main technical and tactical content of the beach handball (offensive and defensive); b) identify and discuss the teaching methods used by coaches throughout the teaching-learning process. For this, will be interviewed coaches of male and female teams who have participated in at least one of the stages of the Sao Paulo circuit of beach handball in 2015. The research will be qualitative and will consist of a semi-structured interview. The data obtained will be tabulated and analyzed using the Collective Subject Discourse method (CSD). (AU)
