Physicist (UNESP, 2002), Master/Doctor in Medical Physics (USP, 2005 and 2009, respectively), Post-Doctor (USP, 2010) and Associate Professor in Biomaterials Engineering (UNESP, 2017). Professor at UNESP since 2010 researching in the areas of Biomaterials, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology. Has experience with FTIR, mechanical resistance, SEM, AFM, spectrophotometry, spectrofluorimetry, EPR, etc. techniques. It acts mainly in the controlled release of bioactive compounds by polymer matrices, especially by natural latex membranes. The Bioengineering and Biomaterials Group, without any coordination, applies latex membranes in cell culture (in vitro), animals (pre-clinical) and humans (clinical). In addition, he has experience in microfluidics, organs-on-a-chip, spheroids, organoids, microfabrication and 3D bioprinting (encapsulation of cells in hydrogels). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
