I am a Full Professor in the Department of Political Science at USP. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from FFLCH-USP, a Master's and Ph.D. in Political Science from USP, and completed my Postdoctoral studies at the School of Public and International Affairs at North Carolina State University (NCSU, 2013).I am the President of the Research and Innovation Committee of the Institute of Advanced Studies (IEA-USP), a Researcher at the Center for International Negotiations Studies (Caeni-IEA/USP), scientific coordinator of the Public Policy Research Center at USP, and Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Political Science Review.I was the Director of the Institute of International Relations at USP (2018-2021), Coordinator of the Standards and Resources Chamber of the USP Graduate School (2016-2017), and coordinator of the International Relations Research Area of the Latin American Political Science Association (ALACIP, 2017-2024).I was a visiting researcher at the Center for Latin American Studies at Georgetown University (USA, Washington, DC, 2000), at the City University of New York (2001), and at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (2009).I have experience in the field of Political Science, with an emphasis on Foreign Policy Analysis, and I work primarily on the following topics: foreign policy, international regimes, regional integration, public opinion, scientific diplomacy, gender, and international relations.
