Associate Professor at the Faculty of Food Engineering at UNICAMP, in the Department of Food Sciences and Nutrition, Juliana has a CNPq level II technological development scholarship. PhD in Food Sciences (Biochemistry concentration area, UNICAMP, 2009) from the same Faculty of Food Engineering at UNICAMP, where she also completed her undergraduate degree (UNICAMP, 2004). She completed a Post-Doctorate (funded by FAPESP) at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Pharmacology at Universidade São Francisco, in Bragança Paulista. Obtained the title of Associate Professor at UNICAMP in 2021, in the area of #8203;#8203;Food and Nutrition. The researcher works in areas such as: Food Biochemistry, nutritional biochemistry, in vitro evaluation of bioactive compounds, development and evaluation of functional ingredients for foods, enzymes in foods, among others. She is currently Principal Researcher and coordinator of one of the 4 research and development platforms that make up the NPOP-PBIS project (Fapesp Project in partnership with industry to create Problem-Oriented Research Centers in São Paulo), based in Ital, in Campinas . He has a postgraduate degree in Scientific Journalism from the Scientific Journalism Laboratory at UNICAMP (Labjor, 2008). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
