Degree in Biological Sciences-Medical Modality from the Federal University of São Paulo (1993), a master's degree (1996) and a PhD (2000) from the Postgraduate Program in Pharmacology at the Federal University of São Paulo. Currently a supervisor in the Postgraduate Program in Nutrition at the Federal University of São Paulo and an associate professor in the Department of Physiology at the Federal University of São Paulo. She completed a postdoctoral internship at the University of Liverpool (UK) (2S003) and a senior internship at the University of Cambridge (UK) (2019, 2023 and 2024). She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Physiology, with an emphasis on Adipose Tissue Physiology and Lipid Metabolism, working mainly on the following topics: nutrigenomics/nutrigenetics, obesity, animal models, and inflammation.
