Abstract
The aim of this project is to further advance the studies for the use of linear matrix inequalities in stability analysis and in the design of controllers and filters for dynamic systems subject to uncertainties. Continuous and discrete, time-variant and invariant linear systems, as well as the presence of delays, nonlinearities and saturations are investigated.Particular classes as switched, hybrid, Markovian, positive, fuzzy and parameter-varying systems are considered. The goal is to continue the work developed during the last years by the research group composed by master, doctorate and post-doctorate students under the supervision of the researcher professors of this project, in order to produce new results.
