Abstract

The project stage of research abroad aims to improve work techniques immobilization and stabilization of lipases and their application in biocatalysis of reactions of hydrolysis and transesterification of vegetable oil. Lipases from Candida antarctica - fraction B will be immobilized by different methods of immobilization (covalent bonding and hydrophobic interaction) and its stability will be studied in ethanol and its thermostability. The immobilized enzymes are applied in reactions of racemic mixtures to try to distinguish the enantiomer of interest, on hydrolysis of fish oil to produce free fatty acids and ethanolysis reaction on vegetable oil for the synthesis of ethyl biodiesel.
