The increase in biodiesel production in the country has resulted in increased availability of its co-products, including crude glycerin. Due to being a substrate with high power gluconeogenic for ruminants, their best understanding becomes necessary for inclusion in the diets as a source of nutrient. The present study aims to evaluate the dry matter intake and nutrient digestibility and performance of Nellore fed diets containing soybean oil and glycerin. Will be used 28 animals with approximately 375 kg of body weight and average age of 18 ± 2 months, distributed in a completely randomized in 2x2 factorial design (with and without glycerin; with or without soybean oil and combination of both), total of four treatments seven replications. Diets will consist of: T1 - control diet without the inclusion of soybean oil and glycerin ; T2 - inclusion of 6.13 % soybean oil in the dry matter (DM ), T3 - including 10 % crude glycerin replacing of the corn in the concentrate and T4 - the inclusion of 10% glycerol crude corn replacing part of the concentrate associated with soybean oil. These four diets will be evaluated on a forage:concentrate ratio of 40:60, and isoproteic and exclusive roughage is silage corn. The experimental confinement is 105 days, with 21 days of adaptation and three periods of 28 days.
